are used to extinguish or prevent the spread of fire

Fire suppression systems are used to extinguish or prevent the spread of fire in a building. Suppression systems use a combination of dry chemicals and/or wet agents to suppress equipment fires

FM-200 Suppression Systems

FM-200™ (HFC-227ea) is formed from the elements carbon, fluorine and hydrogen (CF3CHFCF3-heptafluoropropane). The primary extinguishing mechanism of FM-200™ is heat absorption, with a secondary chemical contribution from the thermal decomposition of FM-200™ in the flame.

CO2 Carbon Dioxide Suppression Systems

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a colorless, odorless, and chemically inert gas that is both readily available and electrically non-conductive. It extinguishes fire primarily by lowering the level of oxygen that supports combustion in a protected area.

Janus Fire Systems® High Pressure CO2 Fire Extinguishing Systems utilize carbon dioxide stored as a liquid in cylinder assemblies designed specifically for this purpose and pressurized to 850 psi (58.6 bar) at 70°F (21°C). HPCO2 cylinders are available in 50 lb (22.7 kg), 75 lb (34.0 kg), and 100 lb (45.4 kg) capacities.

Janus Fire Systems® Low Pressure CO2 Storage Units consist of an insulated ASME VIII pressure vessel, steel outer shell, integrated refrigeration unit, ASME safety relief and bleeder valve(s), and liquid level and pressure gauges. Storage units are available in capacities ranging from 1.25 ton (1.13 metric ton) to 50 ton (45.4 metric ton).

Janus Fire Systems® LPCO2 Pilot Cabinets operate in conjunction with system valves, alarm and detection, and LPCO2 storage units to discharge the CO2 system while incorporating pneumatic time delays and sirens where required by NFPA 12.

LPG INERT® is stored in high pressure cylinders as pressurized gas. Therefore, the necessary space for the cylinders depends on their pressure and volume.

Discharge is performed through valves fully developed by LPG and approved by the most renowned independent organizations. They are highly adaptable to all actuation and release systems currently on the market, even allowing combinations of several of them.

The design of the system protects against accidental actuation due to micro-leakages.They also allow control and maintenance of all critical elements contained in a fixed extinguishing system at the time of commissioning.

Inert gases do not leave residues after their application and they do not generate decomposition products in contact with the flames. Their ozone layer depletion potential is zero. Furthermore, they are easy to recharge.

Inert Gases with iFLOW technology

Using innovative technology, the iFLOW Fire Suppression System is a state-of-the-art delivery system that provides a regulated and effective discharge of inert gas clean agent.

The iFLOW technology is available with the following inert gas agents:
